POWDER OMBRE BROW TATTOO in rhode island

The powder brow is a soft powdery finish that looks like you’ve just powdered your brows in (hence the name). Using a cosmetic tattoo machine, hundreds of tiny dots of pigment are implanted into the skin which resembles a soft powder finish. Once healed, the results look like you’ve just powdered your brows in, perfectly. Powder brows are also perfect for all skin types, whether you’re oily, dry or mature. Oily skin types don’t take well to microblading as the over production of oil & larger pores means pigment is not retained well with microblading cuts.

MICROBLADING TATTOO in rhode island

Microblading is a cutting-edge cosmetic procedure that transforms and enhances eyebrows, creating a natural and meticulously crafted appearance. This technique, often referred to as “eyebrow embroidery” or “3D brows,” involves the skilled application of semi-permanent pigment into the skin, resulting in realistic and fine hair-like strokes. The fine strokes seamlessly blend with your existing brows, creating a cohesive and genuine effect. Achieving well-defined and beautifully shaped eyebrows can significantly boost your confidence and enhance your overall appearance. Microblading provides a natural yet transformative result that accentuates your facial features.

POWDER BROW TATTOO FAQ

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances the eyebrows by creating hair-like strokes with a handheld microblade tool and specialized permanent makeup ink. It provides a natural and realistic appearance to the eyebrows.

What is Powder Brow Permanent Makeup?

Powder brow permanent makeup, also known as shading or ombre brows, involves using a tattoo machine to deposit pigment in a soft, powdered makeup look. It creates a more defined and filled-in appearance compared to microblading.

Is the Procedure Painful?

Pain levels vary from person to person, but most clients report minimal discomfort during both microblading and powder brow procedures. We apply a clinical grade topical and secondary numbing agent to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. We have even had patients fall asleep during this procedure.

How Long Does the Procedure Take?

On average, both microblading and powder brow procedures take approximately 2 to 3 hours. This includes the consultation, mapping the brows, selecting the pigment, and performing the actual treatment.

How Long Do Microblading and Powder Brow Results Last?

Results typically last 1 to 4 years, but individual factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare can influence longevity. Periodic touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired look.

Is There Downtime After Microblading or Powder Brow Permanent Makeup?

There is minimal downtime for both procedures. Some redness and mild swelling may occur initially, but it usually subsides within a few days. You will need to avoid anything that will mess up the brows such as, submerging in water, steam, saunas, tanning, sun, etc.

Can I Choose the Shape and Color of My Brows?

In general, your artist will match the pigment to your brow hairs (there are very few exceptions to this) During the consultation, your technician will discuss your preferences, assess your facial features, and help you choose the most flattering shape and color for your eyebrows.

Can I Wear Makeup After the Procedure?

While there is minimal downtime, it’s recommended to avoid wearing makeup on the treated area for at least 10 days. Once the healing process is complete, you can resume your regular makeup routine.

Can Microblading or Powder Brow Permanent Makeup Cover Scars or Sparse Brows?

Yes, both procedures are effective in  enhancing the appearance of sparse or thin brows. Scars will need to be assessed on a case by case basis.

Are Microblading and Powder Brow Permanent Makeup Suitable for Everyone?

While generally safe, individuals with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities should consult with their healthcare provider before undergoing these procedures. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals are not able to.

How Do I Choose Between Microblading and Powder Brow Permanent Makeup?

The choice between microblading and powder brows depends on skin type, personal preference, lifestyle, and desired results. We will provide guidance based on your individual needs and help you make an informed decision.

Always follow the aftercare instructions provided by your permanent makeup tattoo artist to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results.

Do you have to shave the hairs on my eyebrows like a regular tattoo?

No I will not shave your brows off, I will only use an eyebrow razor to clean up the hairs around the desired shape that we choose.
